Angie and Alex

We have our parents to thank for our genetics. We inherited the youth gene. Last night we were looking at old photos of when Angie and I had our four offspring as toddlers and pre-pubescent children. Angie and I both looked about 14 years old. Angie is still very attractive today as the photo at left conveys; but as a 33 year old she was positively smoking. I marvel that she actually picked me to be her husband. Amazing.

Today we still look pretty good I think, but that isn’t solely genetics. We’ve taken care of ourselves because we want to remain attractive as one way of expressing our appreciation and respect for each other. But Angie’s influence over my habits was essential to my remaining healthy, and alive, because I was fairly reckless years ago. There’s that control thing again. I love her for it.
